    Pegged water pressure gauge

Part #2 of the continuing saga of working the bugs out of my "newsed" Stratos.
My water pressure gauge is almost completely pegged. I can disconnect the hose at the motor, blow air into it & the needle on the gauge moves up just a hair.
When I draw air in, the needle stays nearly pegged with nary a drop.
I'm guessing the gauge is kaput?
I have other gauge issues, but I'm looking at the archive of owners remedies & will try those before posting topics willy-nilly.
You gentlemen are a wealth of knowledge & I sure appreciate it.

Re: Pegged water pressure gauge (Todd Morgan)

The water in the line got to 31 for too long time I bet. I put a inline connector about 10" from the gauge and every October it get seperated. To much work to get to the gauge every spring and fall.

I hope to have bought my last H2O gauge.

Re: Pegged water pressure gauge (StratosDadRI)

I'm "lucky" in that regard at least.
5 screws & mines as open as the U.S. \ Mexican border.
I'm off to the sponsor page to jump a link to C&O.
    Thanks.
