Gas Gauge

My gas gauge just quit working. When I turn the key on the gauge moves just a small amount. Im wondering if its the gauge or the sending unit. Im sure its the sending unit and I will have to tear this boat apart. Nothing is never easy!
Its a 2000 20ss Extreme .

Don't be so hasty to take anything a part. From time to time if I have been in some real rough water and bounced aroud a lot my sending unit will stick. Fill your gas tank and run the boat again and then see if your gauge wont start working after a little bit of run time and bouncing.
