    Stratos trailer bearings

I am new to the newer boats and stratos's. This may be dumb but how do I grease the bearings?
My old boat there was a fitting right in the middle of the trailer bearing buddy. Pull the cap off and there it was?

    Re: Stratos trailer bearings (stratosman1)

I assume you have a 19XL........let me know if not. If it is a 19 XL there should be chrome caps over the zerk fittings.....pop them off and there will be the zerk.

05 and up were oil baths on several models.

Re: Stratos trailer bearings (Todd Morgan)

Well guys I am still not able to find that zert? I popped the chrome cover off and didn't see anything there. I pulled off the rubber cap over the end of the axle. But nothing there as I was used to with my old bearing buddy type. There is some kind of pop out thing with a blue indicator. Maybe I should take a picture. Anymore help? If it is oil bath what kind of Maintenance should I do to it?

I'm pretty sure if you have the blue indicators you have grease hubs. There will be a zerk fitting somewhere.

Found it. It was under the rubber cap then under another cap under it. But now... If the blue part is showing do I need to grease it or is it ok till the blue part is not showing ???????

If you can see the blue ring, your good. If you can't see the blue ring, you need grease. If I'm not mistaken, you should be able to go to UFP's website and get instructions for your hubs. There may even be a link on the trailer board.
