Worm Dye eveywhere!!

Is there any way to get this stuff out of my boat seats?? Ive heard the sun will take it out but i dunno????

Time will do it.....just using the boat will see them dissapear over time.

Try club soda.Test a small spot first /Also works great on carpet stains

I think Spike It sells a neutralizer for worm die. I think I read it on the BBC that someone used that to get it out of their carpet. Like it was mentioned above i would try a small spot first.

A few years ago, I went to the ramp to fish for a while on a Friday evening. There was a tourney going on and a dude ran up to me and told me that he'd pay my entry fee if he could fish with me in the tourney - said his partner bailed on him. He looked like a cool guy so I said "sure thing" and off we go.

During the night, he would spray the red berkley scent on his baits. I'd hear him back there just a pumping and spraying but couldn't see him doing it in the dark. I thought he was spraying it on the bait as he held it over the side. Wrong. The weiner was spraying it right over my back deck, seats, and cockpit floor - all blasted night. He had to have used almost a whole bottle.

When I turned on the courtesy light about 2am, I could see my carpet and seats had a red tint. I about popped a gasket. I may have had a mini stroke too. I also have some missing time I can't account for that night.

Anyway, the next day, I got most of it out after hours of carpet cleaning & scrubbing, but frankly, it faded out on its own over time.

Dang it, I should have known better to check BBC when I woke up early. I'll never go back to sleep after that one and I have to work today so no fishin.

wow, i didn't think Duane could get mad. i almost spit pepsi all over my monitor when i read "popped a gasket".

i've had guys step on their spike it bottle on the back deck, it comes out with sun.

on that note though. if you want your spike it to last a while, keep it out of the sunlight or you'll be buying a new bottle every few months.

Well, of course worms dye everywhere. Nothing lives forever.
We just have to let go and continue with our lives.
At least worm funerals are kinda cheap.
