Javelin Renegade 19 - Where to put Radio?

Hey guys...I have a 2000 model 19 Renegade and b/c it is a single console, I was wondering if any of you have had experience putting a radio in this particular model boat or one that is similar. I know where the speakers would go, but not the deck itself. Any ideas or pics would be appreciated.

I have a 99 Javelin Renegade 19 and to my knowledge the 00 model has the same lay out. My console has tons of leg room and I think a stereo would fit on left side of the drivers console. Looking from the outside the cover to my horn is in that area. The stereo would be facing the area where you step up to the front deck.

If the area is deep enough look at an install around the gear shift area. It may not be deep enough but I would check it out.

What ever you decide on let us know. Post some pictures so we can see what you done

I installed mine on the left side of the drivers console! I used a marine face plate cover. I cut the fiberglass with a rotary bit. As far as the speakers i cut one in by the shifter and the other one on the other side of the boat( you have to carefull to make sure you have enough room (my speakers barely fit) I wish i could give you pics but my boat is in storage untill april 1

I think I'm going to wait a while now...Ran out of money. I sent it to Mike Daleo for some Bluewater Bling! The Deluxe Package . Thanks for the help. I think I know where I will mount it when I do get one!
