I am running a 250hpdi and am wondering if anyone has tried a fury prop on theirs?

26 is as big as they come......the 250 HPDI generally requires a 27 or larger.

I Borrowed a 26 Fury and Carolina Killer ran it on my Boat. Top speed was equal to the 27 Tempest 78+ GPS .........Hole shot was very good......... Mid range was very good.
Handling: needed more driver input at higher speeds
If I remember correctly, he said that if he would have given it a little more trim he could have easily ran it up and over 6000 RPMS. This was in the summer with the heat in the high 80s, humidity close to 95% and at about 1200 ft elevation.

when i had my 201 back in the summer i ran FLIPPIN57's. My B&B 27 Tempest drove alot better and was .1 MPH faster. I remeber i hit 80.0 loaded with 1 person never could get anymore. hole shot on the fury was better though. for the price unless you find a deal. buy a 27 tempest and send it to mark and have B&B. comes out about the same.

Right now I am only getting 5500rpm and 70mph with the 27t1. I am at 3 1/4 below the pad. I have tried going up and down on the jack plate and this is the best I can get. This motor should be able to turn the 27t1 to 5900 and about 77-78mph.

Why could'nt you take a 26p and have Mark bump it up to a 27p??
Just can't leave well enough alone!!

Defeats the purpose imo...Fury is supposed to be tuned in the box. You may as well tune a cheaper prop with most likely identical results?

But i may be way off

Thats pretty much what I was told. Take a 27 Tempest and have a prop guy whack it around a little and Wa La something that runs as fast as a Fury and handles better. One thing though, the Tempests and Trophys aren't too far behind the Fury in NEW price.
