Good evening everyone,

I have a crazy question to ask. I have a 2005 Stratos 195 XL Pro with a 200 HP Yamaha VMax engine. I recently caught the inshore fishing bug for snook, reds and tarpon here in
Florida. How crazy would it be, and what problems can I expect if I were to use this boat for inshore saltwater fishing? I have been looking at flats and bay boats, but what the dealers will give me for a trade in is horrible. A Key West dealer said he could give me around $18K to $19k towards a $38,000 216 Bay Reef with a 150 HP 4 stroke Yamaha. That would put me upside down. So, my options are to either sell it out right and hope to get closer to my payoff, go upside down on a new boat or just keep it and enjoy for both fresh and saltwater fishing. Any advise? If I did decide to use it for inshore, I would change out my Minn Kota 65 for a Riptide 80, and maybe replace the trailer for an aluminum one. Sorry so long, but can you offer any advise. Any one looking for a very well kept and serviced Stratos boat?
