I have 285 pro xl 92' with a 150hp envinrude intruder. when I come on plane my boat revs loud .
I know I need plugs for my prop which is 3 blade 24 pitch , I just don't know where to get to them. my local envinrude guy told me to use epoxy?

Never heard of a Keaton prop....but if it has vent holes and they are all open it could be a cause for the prop blowing out. A simple fix to see if that is the problem is to close them up with some silicone sealer to see if that helps. Also make sure that you trim the motor all the way down before you take off.

I had the same problem with my Intruder with a 24 raker prop, I used JB Weld on the exhaust holes and the blow out on the hole shot completly disappeared
I guess I'll start with 1 hole at a time. Thanks guys, I'm going to try the JB weld.
about the Prop saying Keaton on it, I don't get it either but it's stamped on the side.
