Some thoughts please

I'm thinking of going to look at a 2000 21ss Stratos with a 2000 225 Ficht Ram. My old 21 had a 225HO carb motor. My question is this, is it worth my time with the ficht or keep looking. I had friends with the early fichts but don't know about the later ones. Just asking for some honest thoughts. Thanks, Brian

The 225 fichts were ok.... The ones that really gave most of the issues were the 150-175 stuff.....

I have a 99 Ficht 200. No problems at all. Like said it was the
small blocks that had most of the Probs.

I would price it on if you had to replace the motor...

I had a 2000 21SS Extreme with a 225 Ficht on the back. Had it for 6 years without a problem. Bought a 2006 ProXL with a 225 E-tec on the back. Blew up the E-tec and the Ficht is still running. Go figure!

E-tec was under warranty and all but you just never know.

I've got a 225 Ficht equipped 21SS and have not had any issues nor did the first owner. Mine is for sale on here. The only reason I am considering the sale is because we are expecting our first child and I don't want to be tied financially just in case.

i have a 2000 200hp, it runs great, like it was said before, most problems were on the 150-175 and pre 1998 motors
