Just to let you guys know that on the older Stratos Boats, there is a problem with water not drainning. My Dad has an older Stratos. It lost alot of speed and did not want to get on the final pad. He drilled a hole in the bottom of the boat and it filled up with water. What happened was that the material in the hull absorbed the water. There was a hole in the material that would allow water to go in but not out. He decided to completly split the boat. We weighed over 400 pounds of soaked insulation. So, now the boat should run like new. We still have to put it all back together. I thought that there might be somebody else out ther dealing with this problem. My Dad loves this boat so much that he will never part from it.
