    Kevlar engraved on the transom of 295 PE

    I have a 97 295 PE. On the transom area the word kevlar is engraved. Can someone tell me what that is about? or is the transom made of kevlar?

    There is some Kevlar reinforcement in the boat. It's not all Kevlar, but there is 'some' in it.
