Can anyone recommend a Stratos dealer in Texas that they have heard good things about?

What part of the state are you in and I'll get you one.

I'm in central Texas. I am less concerned with how close it is to me and more concerned with finding a really good dealer.
Then go to C & O ... everyone else seems to...![]()

a 1000 miles one way might be a little to far. unless it was a hell of a deal!
Todd will always tell you to give your local dealer a shot at your business first. I doubt anyone in the country is going to touch the reputation he has earned over the years, as you said 1000 miles is a long drive but folks have came further. By "hell of a deal" I assume you are looking for more than just the best price out of a dealer.
Great dealers are hard to come by, if there is one close to you he will let you know who to contact.
http://www.candomarine.com will give you some idea of our local prices on 06 and 07 boats if you check the "specials" tab. Happy Hunting.![]()
I appreciate that...but we need the Texas market to grow. Getting one from here doesn't help that number.
I just got off the phone with Dennis at Stratos. Austin Boat and Motor is centrally located and he will walk the dealer through the sale if you need him to.

This type of service and help is what makes you guys #1!!
I have actually heard bad things about austin boats and motors. I was trying to find a dealership someone has had a good experience with.
Talk can be cheap......at least give them a chance before you decide against them if they're close to you.
I'll be happy to give you the Texas Rep's number so you can confer with him about a dealer to fit your needs.
one thing i will say is that i have a stratos dealer 45 minutes from me i drove the 6 hours to get my stratos at c and o. only thing i regret is they are 6 hours away so minor stuff your on your own but if you have a problem todd will take care of it. im going through some stuff that stratos was a little slow at and todd took care of the issue meeting me half way to get the boat. one thing i will say is they are very busy so over the phone is hard to get a hold of but if you email them they get back to you right away im mean like so fast you swear they are on the computer 24 hours so that being said im not sorry i went to them. but with that being said i did buy other boats from my local dealer before and i wasnt happy with them. give your local dealer a shot if you dont think they will make you happy then email todd
I live in Austin and am also looking at Stratos but have heard MANY bad things about Austin Boats and Motors. Look at Gary's Marine in Gateville about an hour to and hour and a half away. The only down side is he uses mainly Mercury Motors.
Thanks for the info. I will check them out. Do you know if they have several 285's in stock to choose from?
I know he has a 2007 that he is wanting to deal on. Also there is diamond sport out in East Texas but I haven't heard much about them.
Thanks. Do you know what color it is? What motor?
