    Newbie

Hello all, newbie here. My name is Jeff and I live in Northern Indiana. I found this site last November while looking for a new (07 Stratos) boat. Last October my family and I had a roll-over accident up in Michigan (avoiding a deer that had decided to stand in the road) that totalled our 02 Trailblazer and 02 Stratos 18XL w/ 150 OX66 Yamaha. Thankfully we only had minor bumps and bruises. We didn't really want to have a boat payment again but decided to purchase a 294XL w/ a 200 Etec ho from Rodney at Jet-a-marina. That second console come in yet Rodney?? lolol The wait is excruciating, especially with temps below zero tonight. lol

I just wanted to say that "I'm hooked" What a great site for information and advice !!!! I'm not sure how much I will be able to contribute, but I'll be watching and learning.

Oh, and if Todd Morgan notices this, my brother is Larry Regina. He had his royal blue 201 down to your place for warranty work this past Monday and Tuesday. He has nothing but good things to say about you and C&O.

Welcome Jeff. This place is addicting. Before I found BBC, my routine was, come home from work and go right to the frig. Now I come home, check BBC, then go to the frig.

Welcome to the board Jeff, you'll find there's a TON of information now at your fingertips.

I fish the same club as Larry. If you go to http://www.stjoevalleybassmasters.com there's some pictures there of Larry getting almost all the year end awards for 2007.

Is the date for the fireman's tournament set for this year?

I also have a 201 that I drove to Nashville to buy from Todd at C & O. Enjoy your new boat, if we ever get open water again maybe we'll run into each other on the river some time.

    John

    FF Jeff,

The BBC is highly addictive. I learn stuff on BBC before it ever gets out into magazines such as B&WB. Many times folks on BBC know things that some dealers don't even know about their own boat lines and engines.

There's a bunch of great boat dealers, techs/mechanics, and others who contribute to BBC. Al's a pretty good guy too! (Al is the owner of the board) We have fun, help others, ask questions, share opinions and views, sometimes beat on each other, but in the end this is one of the best overall resources you can have for bass boating and such.
