How can you tell if the motor is starving for fuel? My ETEC is studdering on hole shot. Its pulling about 14 gph of fuel and barely hits 3500 to 3900 rpms.

Are you getting a fuel restriction alarm?
No alarms, just slow out of the hole. It seems to come and go, thats why I was thinking it was a fuel delivery problem. I sometimes it gets a surge at take off.
I will be looking at the fuel lines when I get home to make sure there is no kinks in it.

A fuel restriction will throw an alarm but check any ways.
Dont mess with it, get it back to your dealer.
I SECOND THAT.GET IT BACK TO DEALER A.S.A.P!!TO much technology to mess with or mess up!
It ended up being the fuel line collapsing. I removed the existing fuel line, and replaced with double wall line and it took care of a few problems. The other problem I was experiencing was the fuel cap was blowing fuel out and all down the side of the boat. Since replacing the fuel line, it no longer blows fuel down the side of the boat. It caused my Champion decal to lose its screen printing. The decal now has a cool mirror finish!

Glad you got the problem fixed and I am real glad it was not a motor problem.![]()
