GO VOLS
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if the boat was sold as new and has never been registered, it would be just like buying a new boat. Your manufacturer warranty will start the day you buy.

Pro staff/team boats like mine, Duanes, etc, will have all new warranties. You will be the first registered owner and all warranties, boat, motor, etc. will start when you take delivery. You also get any incentives offered by the manufacturer that may be on the boat/motor at the time.
It is a great way to get into a boat at a discount, but still get the advantage of all new warranties, and new boat financing.![]()

it's great way to get a very gently used boat for a reduced price and still get all the good stuff that comes with buying new. i.e. warranties, financing, rebates(iff available) etc...
VERY SATISFIED with my staff boat!!![]()

That is where you're wrong. It IS my boat. I have to finance it, insure it, and take care of it. And, you can bet your butt I do take care of it.
There's a difference between a used 'Pros' boat and a pro staff boat.![]()

actually, a pro-staff, or "team" guy will take better care of his boat than the average guy because he HAS to re-sell the boat. eveyr team guy i know is an absolute neat freak about their boat. almost to a fault....i know some guys that won't fish shallow for fear of scuffing the hull.
Absolutely agree with Clint. . . . I think there's a difference in a dealer team boat vs. a pro's boat being used to make a living at fishing.
To support the point of William's post, if my livelihood depended on me catching fish vs. not sanding the paint off the skeg in shallow water, I'd do what I had to in order to bring in a bag of fish to make a check. In that case, the pro uses the boat as a tool to earn a living. Pro's boats are used as a means to an end. They also have different arrangements directly with boat manufacturers outside of a dealer relationship.
Prostaffers are here to promote their dealership, to promote the brand, and show off a great product. That message is hard to convey with a boat that has had the shiznit beat out of it. I love doing this, it is a passion, and I take extra special care of my boats. I do find myself keeping the boat out of certain situations in order to preserve the "new" look and feel of the boat and to ensure the best possible resale.
Not only am I competing against new boat sales from my dealer and other dealers, I'm competing against other team guys (like Jason) at my dealership, but also team boats from other dealerships to sell the demo boat.
A clean boat that looks and feels new and is setup with all the bells and whistles, sells fast, usually at thousands below the best possible price (not MSRP, but your best sales price) you could find on the same boat "new". This is a win/win for both the buyer and the pro-staffer.

you can't put it any better than that.....and you get a triple word score for effective use of the word "SHIZNIT"
hahahahahahhaha
