    06 225 HO w/ NMEA interface cable

I installed a Lowrance LMF-400 and I also purchased the LEI Evinrude Interface cable (Part #120-30 or 120-301). I connected everything and I can't see my motor on the NMEA bus network. My LMF-400 can see the GPS puck but not the motor. I connected the interface cable to the connection on the EMM board and then used a T connector to add it to the network. But I still can't see it. I've tried with the key on and off but no luck. Any ideas or thoughts on what I'm doing wrong? Thanks in Advance

    Futhermore,

I just read this article (http://www.trailerboats.com/images/e...ASS%20DASH.pdf) which shows the interface connection to the interface from the EMM. I have that connection correct from what I can see on the picture on page 2 where is shows the connections. So I'm not sure what I missed!! Very Frustrating!!!!

I guess this is what I get for caring about my outboard!!!

Everything was plug and play on my '06, but a co-worker has and early '05 and it would not detect his EMM. I'm curious if that is the case w/ yours.

I live in Gilbert, if you need help let me know. I have the LMS 332 networked to a LMF 400.

Key must be on, power must be present to the NMEA network.

    Plug & play with my 07 200HO.

Thanks Guys!! Yeah I have the key on and everything else on my NMEA network is working fine. I spoke to Lowarnce this morning and they are thinking it might be a bad cable. I'm going to take a OHM meter to the cable to make sure the interface cable is getting power

Early model V-6 E-TECs needed a software update to get the NMEA 2000 network to work correctly.

See your dealer for a free update for the latest software if you are still in warranty.

You will not get a trim indication unless you installed the I-Command cable that replaces the keyswitch and gauge wiring from the engine to the dash. Also using the Lowrance gauge, you will not get the warning alarm explanations. All features are only available on the Evinrude I-Command gauge.

I had the software checked for updates about a month ago and per my dealer I was current.

    Thanks for the info!!

Per Lowrance they believe I have a bad cable so I have another one coming. We'll see if that fixes the problem
