    Padded front deck . . . . . ?

    I read in an earlier thread that the padded front decks on the Stratos 200/201 are bad news . . . . can anyone elaborate?

    From what I have heard, they are bad news on most boats. The carpet over them tends to wrinkle and stretch. Todd @C&O usually recommends against ordering them. I have seen this problem on a couple of Rangers, and I can't remember for sure, but I think on one Triton.

    Warranty nightmare!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Just stick with the regular carpet and a nice comfy pair of Hush Puppies! You'll be much happier!

    gonna be getting mine replaced soon!! Looks like I will be taking a trip to C & O to do so as well!! And NO, DO NOT get the padded front deck...
