Hi all, I've been reading a fair number of topics that owners have been receiving notices from BRP advising of updates for the EMM. Does this apply only to certain horsepower and model year?

I ask because I purchased a 60hp 05', took delivery in August 05' and I've never been notified by BRP of any updates for the engine. There has been one update for the 60HP and I found this out by talking to my dealer.

Is there a email ist one can sign up for? Just curious. Thx, Bandsand

The only time BRP will send you a notice is if something has to be done for your saftey or for the saftey of your enigne. There is probley a emm update that is not a big deal, but there is a fuel filter recall that should be looked into. Your filter should have a black dot on it. I would say take it to your dealer and have them check it out for you. This is on all 40 thru 90 hp's.
