HI, I've got a 02 21 XL Magnum and I haven't run it in about a month and I went out to do a preseason check on all of my stuff and put a new cranking battery in the boat and I've got nothing at the dash, NOTHING. The motor is fine, will trim up and down(haven't tried to start it yet) but nothing at the dash. does anyone know where a main fuse or circuit breaker would be?

In my 2003 XL boat the fuses are in the rear compartment on the driver side. There are 2 holders, one says "Main" the other says "bilge". Most likley your main fuse. If its not blown try cleaning the blades. If they are corroded you dont get a good connection. This may sound dumb but is your power switch on? Saw a guy yesterday that forgot to check it and he thought he had other problems.

Remove cowling from the motor. On the starboard side of the motor, right in the middle, there will be a black cover with 2 (I think) screws in it. Remove the cover and you will see 5 or 6 fuses. Might be one of those is no good.
