I have a 2008 285xl. Wondering how far off the centerline of the the boat the transducer should be? I have mine no more than a foot or so from the centerline on the second step. Wondering if that is causing any issues with the prop.

a foot over should be put of the way maybe a picture? having issues with prop biting? blowing out?
