man,Saturday was one nasty day to bring home my new boat... I am going to love this boat ...(2) 332color sonar/gps...101 36volt lift-assist trolling motor(more weight.. 4 batteries)I weigh 285lbs,I hope this E-TEC will get me in the mid 70'S??I would love if it ran like AB'S...I read some where there are several hulls or molds that stratos has ...one one mold seems to run faster than all the others???is this true? and if so how or can to tell what mold your hull is made from???
Gotta remember AB weighs like 120 pounds(or at least looks like it)
Yep, I'm all of 130lbs....all that and my setup data is in my latest post. Most of our 201's that go out with the Etec run a 27 Tempist or 28 raker2 and run 75 light, 72-73 loaded to fish...The 27 Tempist will probably be the prop you end up choosing for a good holeshot and good topend. There are several 201 molds and one is faster than the others. I don't know why, maybe the lines are crisper, chines are sharper, who knows....
Congrats on your new rig. You will really enjoy the fuel and oil economy of the Etec. it will seem like it DRINKS the oil at first, but once the EMM kicks it out of break in it will really start just sipping it.
I haven't told anyone yet, but I am running 81mph with my setup...Just kidding, Thought I wouldn't let AB have all the fun....
