I am getting my 'new to me' Stratos in the morning!!! '94 201 ProXL w/Yamaha 250...Will tell you how she runs and post pic's tommorow...I do know that it is supposed to run in the upper 70's loaded to low 80's light..It is the only 201 w/a 250 I have seen that runs a 29" Yamaha T-1 prop...

Thank heavens you posted the correction.

Enjoy the rig, Russ. I'm sure that hammer will give you many good years of service.

Re: An end to grumpy boatless guy!!!! (201pro)

Got the boat today..Ran it out to 77.8 mph GPS in foot and half chop, before it got too scary... It walked pretty bad over 75 in that chop... I could not adjust the hyd plate down to see if that would help, because it had a blown fuse and we did not have a replacement with us...I replaced it when I got home and it works fine now...May have to try it again tommorow... Here are a couple pic's...

    Good looking boat.

Generally speaking, you usually need to raise the jackplate to reduce chine. Unless you are just incredibly high for some reason. If you have good water pressure, I would try raising it slightly to improve the driving characteristics.

    Again, very nice looking boat.

I want to know what the H kind of ramp that is????? no concrete, if you get some wear you are fried or if the currents take out the gravel under the water fried again. would not put my pretty new rig in at that place.

That is not the ramp....The ramp is off to the left of the top picture...This is a bay beside the ramp where we have our weigh-in's. There are a lot of people that put in there, because they can leave the truck/trailer right there by the water, but there is too big of a chance of sucking gravel in the prop when loading for me...

Is that an HPDI case on it or does it have a cone on it? It sure looks like the 3.3l HPDI case....

    Sharp looking boat!
