I just bought a 1988 Stratos 201 with a 200 johnson motor. What kind of speeds should I expect? I do not have a gps yet, and I have not even been on the water with it yet.

as most will tell you it depends on set up, jack plate prop and load but usual for the year and motor is low to mid 60's
I have a 1989 201 w/ a 200, 6" jp, and 25 Gade. I don't have a GPS but I would guess I'm in the low 60's. The prop had a little extra rake added which I don't think is helping. I'm only spinning it to around 51-5200. I need to get it over to Mark and have it worked. The motor is old and tired and the boat is old and heavy.

I have a 97 201 225johnson 24rake 6"jackplate 1.25" off plate. I only get about 64gps. I have a better prop to try but havent had time to get to the store to buy the conversion piece I need. Hoping I can get to high 60's with it, but with a full tank, lots of tackle, partner in boat andkitchen sink in every locker
, that will probably be my max.
