Well...now that summer has kicked in, my speeds dropped a bit...Saturday, air temp 90-95*, 80% humidity, moderate winds, heavy boat traffic, best I could do was 73.4 at 5300....Water pressure was 22psi...Today, dropped it back in. Started coming up with the plate. Identical conditions, but a touch more humidity, finally stopped after coming up 3/4" becuase boat traffic is getting too heavy to run. Hit 75.7 at 5500, 20psi of water pressure, but the overall kicker was that the boat is VERY nimble now. Handles like a Porsche instead of a barge...Responds INSTANTLY to steering inputs, feels very very light, really it feels like the ol Bullet used to feel. It only took a touch over 1/2 trim to get her to fly, instead of the tad over 3/4 it used to. Now I can't wait to get out and run her tonight when it cools off some, the last few weeks I have noticed I gain roughly 2.5mph as the air temps cool off in the evening...When I get it back on the trailer I'll measure the height, I am very happy with it where it is now. Holeshot is still good, acceleration is better....
