Find some 1" thick styrofoam and cut it to fit under the lid. You'll be surprised how much it will help!

This is off topic, but do any of you guys use a rod organizer in your locker. Im looking at the Osprey brand organizer, but wanted to see what other people were using, and what fit the best.

    Thanks,

Contact Dave at Stors-it and get some of his rod sleeves! Top notch.

    Craig,
I too have a 95 285 Pro Xl. Didn't even know that was suppose to be a cooler. Keep my ropes in it. I'll try the foam in the lid.

    Cyulost,

I looked at different rod organizers, even tried to make my own. But, finally realized that rod socks is the way to go. My wife made mine along with reel covers and I never have tangled rods. And I can keep a lot more in the box than the limiting rod holders allow. Cabellas has some nice, inexpensive rod socks. Good investment.

    IMO

I went with Stick Jackets. They are made out of a "Chinese finger trap" type idea. They grip the rods and hooks don't get snagged into it. They work great. I pulled out my Osprey and now I can fit 30+ rods into both of them(15 each) without any tangle at all.
