    new seats

I thought I have read on here where someone put new seats in their 286 sprint boat. Mine measures 56 inches across the platform and the Boat seat store has them in 58 inches, will these fit.

Yeah they will fit. It leaves no spacing between the seats but still looks good.

I may end up having to get some of these myself. I only have small seam separation on the top of both seats, but the upholstery shop I talked to locally wanted like $200 just to restitch.

I just ordered new seats from them yesterday, I have a 221 and I only went with the two buckets they offer now. can't wait to install them and see how they feel.

Re: new seats (Jig A Low)

I'm needing new seats on my 207, and have been looking at Bass Seat Store as well. My only hangup is the depth of my seat tray. The seats are supposed to be 18" deep, and my seat tray is 16". I'm concerned about that because they attach at the front, on a hinge.
How deep is your seat pan, and did the seats fit ok? Thanks.....

    Re: new seats (MississippiBoy)

I haven't gotten them yet, just ordered them a couple days ago and they take about a week to make and ship out. depending on which seats you get, there are a couple ways of mounting them, I don't anticipate any issues though.

Gotcha. Hope it goes smoothly for you.
If you wouldn't mind, could you snap a pic or two of the undersides of the seats and how they're mounted, just for my peace of mind? I'd greatly appreciate it. But if not, don't worry about it.
