My 07 250 Pro XS cuts out but doesn't stall, just feel a slight hesitation. Last time out it got worse and started doing it more often with an alarm sometimes on the hesitation. Any ideas?

Boat motors are just like cars, if you want to figure out what's wrong, you have to get the codes read. Anything else is a wild guess.
