    Water Seprator

Does my 99 ZX202 have a water seperator filter? Just bought the boat and getting her ready and need to replace or install before its time for spring.

    Thanks Mike

Are your fuel lines going to your filter 3/8. I just looked at mine and the gray fuel line going to it looks smaller than the one coming off of it

My best guess would be yes they are 3/8.

My '05 didn't either ...... so I mounted mine in the back on one of the metal transom support brackets. And mine are/were 3/8".

    Hope this helps.

Were those holes there or you had to drill them out? Thats alot of work with all that stuff in the way...

    Re: Water Seprator (fishin couillon)

I drilled them. If memory serves me right, the only thing I had to move/take out was the battery and disconnect a bilge and pumpout hose just to get them out of the way.

It was shortly after that install I 'cleaned up' Skeeter's rigging to make it more like it should have been. As a matter of fact, I put a new filter in her this weekend and I didn't have to disconnect anything to get to it. I think it's the picture angle and those big fuel lines blocking your view that's making it looked more cramped than it really is.

One thing I like about mounting it there ........ using unused space and a rock solid mounting surface.
