Loking pretty hard at a brand new ZX20 with a 250 SHO hung on the back of it. Never had any experience with this boat. Any pros/cons to this combo?

Ive got a 2011 225 with the sho and I thinks its close to your setup minus 25hp and I love it. My only problem is it bounces in turns and when slowing down. Fishes great and handles ruff water great. Plenty of storage. another con would be the factory trolling motor length. These boats sit high in the front so they need a longer shaft.
I have had mine for a month. with the weather and everything just got past about 15 hours so I felt I could run her pretty hard. I have seen 75.3 But my jack plate needs to come up so I'll work on that. I really believe this is a 77+ boat.
I just don't go that fast. Normally have my son's with me. Fishes great, Rides great
Big deck, Tons of storage no down side really. I to would opt for a longer TM next time but this is only a problem in pretty rough water. The only reason I opted for the 250 upgrade was re-sale. I think the performance was probably good with the 225 also. I'm loving mine right now. Great boat for the money.
Come over to Lake Norman and we can chase some spots and you can get a feel for it.

Had my new ZX20 since Sept with 225 SHO. Best so far about 73 from the factory set up, but with some tweeking probably 75. The boat runs and rides great, plenty of storage and fishes like a dream. A very stable boat with a great ride!
My other boat was a 2007 ZX225 with a 225 HPDI, a great boat. But the SHO motor is awesome. As long as Skeeter keeps making boats that perform as the ZX225 and ZX20 do, I`ll always be in a Skeeter.
