My boat finally came in today.

It was delivered today and I'm taking it fishing in the morning. I got it this afternoon and went right to the lake to get in the first hour or so of breakin done. For the first hour they don't want you to go over 2000 rpm. So here I am in a 70mph boat going all of 7mph. I think I was even passed by a rowboat at one time.

Thanks for all the comments guys. I took iit out again this morning for a few hours. I only caught 3 fish but at least I got some. With all my junk almost full will gas I maxed out at 66mph but I only have 3 hours on it. It may loosen up a little more over time but it runs so smooth and rock solid.

Never have. Just got friends and relatives from both Hotlanta and Rome ... thus I hear them mention fishing it from time to time. I heard it's a pretty river shaped lake.

Yeah it's a long narrow lake and for the most part it is all natural shoreline.

I'm not a fan of blue boats but that is one pretty skeeter. When you are done with break in, you might want to raise your motor some. Skeeter is WAY conservative with their setups from the factory. My motor was almost 2 inches too low.
