The boat came with one of the 700 series Hummingbirds at the console. I have a 997 that I would like to put there. I am wondering if I ordered the part from my dealer, how difficult it would be to install? I have digital guages and am not sure if I will have to disconnect the wires and reconnect them and if it would cause a problem. I need some advice from someone whose done it before. Thanks
Just have to make the hole bigger for the 997c
I would also change out the transducer since the 798c uses the compact SI transducr and the 997c uses the HDSI transducer.

Off the subject but have you found a good solution for a prop yet? I heard Skeeter/Yamaha are making a new prop for the SHO...I would assume it is a 26P
