How do you remove the center seat/step from a 2004 ZX250?
On my 02 zx225 you just pull straight up. (wiggle is more like it)
There is a tounge and bracket that hols it on.
The step is held on by screws.

Tried pulling it up and no go. My boat has the built in handle in the seat base and can't find the bolts that hold it on. There 2 screws near the front of the cushion but cannot get a screw driver in close enough to remove.
Found access holes under the seat bottoms for 2 bolts holding the center seat.
Just curious ..... where were the holes????? This is something I've talked about doing to my TZX 190 but have yet to really dig into it.

Inside the compartments there is a access hole behind the carpet.
As in under the driver's seat???? I know mine is carpetted under that seat .... the passenger is a ice box. I'll have to take a look next time. Thanks !

You can get to the bolts from under the driver seat. There is an opening big enough to fit your hand through. There is 6 bolts. 4 for the seat 2 for the back. After you get the 2 for the back push up on the back. There is a bracket on the back side.
