    20i opinions

Never been in a skeeter so I know nothing about them. What can you tell me about the 20i? I saw one for sale with a 250. How is the ride? Fit/finish etc.

I am in a skinny boat now and am looking to get into something with a wider front deck. How wide is it at the pedestal?

    Any info if appreciated

    Thanks

I can tell you that the ride is awesome. It drives just as good as my Lexus I promise! I can assure you that if you go and test drive one and ride in one that you will not be dissappointed in it. They are very easy to drive and have no chine walk at all.

I have had at least 5 people fish tournaments with me and right at our first stop they all said the same thing, "If we would have been in my boat coming here that fast it would have beat us to death."

As far as the fit and finish, I have no complaints. I love all the bells and whistles and I dont think you can find a boat with more stock options on it. Not sure on the measurements because my boat is at my shop which isnt at my house. I am right at 6' tall and I dont have any complains about the deck space at all. I have comfortably fished 3 people off the front deck.

I would encourage you to take the boat out on a test drive and see if you like it and make sure it is what you want. Everyone likes different things but the 20i is perfect to me.

The 20i ....... great boat. An old tournament partner of mine has one now and I look forward to everytime we fish out of it. Very stable fishing platform. Rides really nice.

The 250 ........ if it's a HPDI, be prepared to put gas in it and pour oil in it like a drunken sailor.

I went from my last boat ZX185 to a 20i
NO Comparison. The 20i is a fantastic boat. The front deck is big enough to fish two adults with no problem. I'm out of town right now, so I cannot give you the exact measurement at the pedestal, but you wont be dissapointed.
The ride is second to none! Smooth, stable, turns quickly and it doesnt "slam" the waves like other boats that I have owned (both Skeeter and other Mfg's).
Fit and finish is also of very high quality.
If you find one that works with your budget - go for it!
    Good Luck!

Great boat, great ride, will likely be my next boat.

Rode in one on Kentucky Lake in 4+ rollers and it ate them up like candy...

it is as wide as any out there. something like 94" ...

very good boat. you would love it. I've been in about every boat out there and the skeeter ranks up there with the best. I have a ZX250 and my partner has a 20i. the i takes the bigger waves a touch smoother, otherwise i can't tell much difference.

I have an 08 and at the pedestal it is 60" wide and at the console it is 68 1/2" across. From the front of the deck to the console is 93" long. If you have any more ? feel free to ask and I will do what I can.
