20i electrical problem

My 20i (2007) has an electrical problem, when i turn on my bilge pump all the lights on the control pads light up for a second then it shuts the power off, it will reset when i press the power button, but every time i try to use the bilge pump it cuts the power out, has anyone had the same problem?

i have an 06 i20 same problem.they updated the brain box. ask your dealer about it.they have had problems.

Are you sure the pump is not locked up ? Had one do that on mine ( 06 20i ) and it did the same thing

Not sure, but I will check it, hope thats all that is wrong.
