Seat Removal 2003 SX200 (HELP!)

Am I doing this right? Thanks for any help. I feel like I am taking the boat apart to remove the seats. I'm worried about getting it back together. It looks to me like I have to remove the 7 screws in the foot of the boat along a one inch lip and the 5 screws on the back deck directly behind the seats. I believe you can see the screws on the top deck where I stopped. I can't find any other way, I just hate to remove this whole wooden carpeted panel and have to line up those 12 screws again. Is this right?

I'm not sure about an SX, but on my 2003 ZX it's easy. do your seat bottoms flip forward? If so flip them forward, and unscrew the screws that hold the hinge down into the fiberglass. the center seat should have nuts under it accessible from under the drivers seat. The seat backs should have a plate at the bottom of the seat with a few screws in it. they'll be visible when the seat bottoms are flipped forward. once you take out the screws pull the seat back straight upwards

If they don't flip forward, then I'm not sure how to take those out....sorry

Thanks for replying. It helped. They do not flip out. When I looked again and no way to flip out. I took out those screws and the entire panel. The seats are screwed into the big panel before the panel is installed. It was a pain and I hope I can get the panel lined back up with the original screw holes. Seats are two pieces backs are one piece and entire bottom is another. Pics below for future help.

wow.....quite the job huh? I guess they sit over what looks like your fuel tank? I've never seen seats like that before. I had no idea they'd be a one piece bottom & top. Learn something new every day.....and that's a good thing. Glad you figured it out. Hope you can post some pic when you put the new seats/recovered seats in. Those seats are in some rough shape!!

yes, you sit on top of the 48 gallon fuel tank. I hope to get them recovered, checking on prices this week.

I had the seats recovered locally for $257. The boat definitely looks better.
