    20i gas tanks

I have dual tanks on the 20i and have the selector set on dual, but the gas is being pulled only from the port tank. Any suggestions or has anyone had the selector malfunction before?
If replacement needed, how hard to replace it?
    Thanks for any help

i would check the hoses first, make sure one isnt kinked or something simple like that, my next step would be disconnect em, and blow some air thu the line, if that doesnt fix it, and assuming the valve is good, then your problem is in the tank itself, i am sure there is some kind of tube or something running from where the line exits the tank down to the bottom of the tank. (scarey! wouldnt know how to tell you about fixin it) but if you blow air thu the line going to that tank, u should hear bubbleing if all is well.
My 20i doesnt feed equally, but its not too bad.
let us know what u find????

Sounds like good advice. Wonder where you have heard something similar to this before.

I have a 21i...it does the same thing....once you get below a half a tank it will begin to pull more fuel from the other tank....I have never had the tank go dry with fuel still in the other one....
