How would I remove panel to the left of passenger seat? 2003 TZX190

Anyone know how the carpeted panel is removed to the left of the passenger seat? It's where the bungie is for the passenger rod storage. I had the seats out, but still didn't see anything to lift that panel. I need to run a speaker wire there. single console if it makes a difference. Thanks for any help!

Took mine off last year. Had about 8 screws holding it down. It had a small piece of fiber glass cut out, big enough to put your hand in. Not sure if your 03 is the same

did you have to take the glove box out (where a console would be if it were a dual)? I couldn't find anywhere to put a hand in it

I have the SX model and like the other post mine is held down with screws. There was not an opening there. I had to access mine from the storage box behind the seat.

When I pulled mine off, it already had a hole about 3X3 cut in it. It was right next to the seat. Took a while to find all the screws in the carpet

hmmm. If I try to pull it up with just my hands kind of in the middle, it bows a bit almost like it would pop off. I'll have to look harder, and pull out the storage bin behind it & see if I can see anything. If it's that hard to get off it should make a descent place to put a passenger chicken bar.

I never thought putting a radio in a bass boat would be so difficult! first off there is nowhere (besides the glovebox which I do not want to do) to put the head unit, and even though I went out & bought a 5" hole saw, I cannot bring myself to cut two holes below the seats for speakers. So I bought self enclosed speakers & the radio has a small head unit with a remote "brain".

There are screws holding it, they are hard to find.

I mounted my head unit below the driver seat. One speaker in driver console, other above panel you have question about.

I mounted the "brain" in the drivers side rod locker, and the head unit I might leave loose, or mount under the gear selector

I had to take mine off and replace the bungie a while back. The screws were buried down in the carpeting and I almost didn't find 2 of them.
