This has already been posted on the Yamaha motor board, but somebody over here may know and respond.
I have a 2000 Skeeter ZX185C with 2000 VX150TLRY engine (OX-66). Today, I had to jump my starting battery to fish a tournament and did this throughout the day to fish. When putting the boat on the trailer, I likely reversed the battery cables or did something else stupid like make a direct short. After that I could not crank the engine, the console had no power, and the tilt/trim would not work. I found a blown 20 amp fuse under the dash and fixed the console power issue. I found a blown 30 amp mini fuse under the plastic cover on the starboard side under the cowling which fixed my no start issue. BUT, I cannot get the tilt/trim to work. I have looked in the Yamaha online parts manual without success. Does anybody happen to know where I can find a fusible link for the tilt/trim on this setup? I have three trim switches, they all click, but the motor does not move in either direction. I hope I didn't fry something more serious. Please help if you can, I need this sucka fixed fast.
