Power Pole Set-Back for a Tall Guy??? Such a thing?

I've got some long legs and when my power pole is in with my lean seat I'm right on top of the TM pedal. If I get in some rough water I can't really get a good brace on myself and it's tough to get some good balance.
I've seen some guys (think Bill Dance) use a s-shaped pole when using the "sit-down" seat. Any such thing for the lean seat? I just need a few more inches of set-back to use my butt seat comfortably.

I am 5'11 which is probably about average and I have thought to myself several times that I wish my seat was a little further from the trolling motor. I am curious to see if anyone else has found a solution.

    Move the T/M pedal forward

Kinda hard to move foreward when it's recessed. I would like to see a pedistal bent too.

Right on, Stealth. My pedal is recessed and set as far forward as possible so moving it is not a choice. I'm 6'2" and just need some more room.

I'm sure I'm not the tallest guy out there in a Skeeter so somebody's got the answer. I'd give up half of the front compartment storage for another 10-12" of TM setback.

I thought of just putting another base plate on the lid just behind the current plate. I only use that box to store dry goods.

I'm with you guys. way too close. I just don't even use my seat since moving to the skeeter. That is the only gripe i have with my skeeter by the way. love it otherwise

I'm 6'10" and just take all the seats out. Hard to fish sitting down anyway
