    New Skeeter Owner

    I've been lurking around here for the last several weeks. I decided to go ahead and sign up since I just pulled the trigger on a new sx 180. It's been almost ten years since I sold my last Skeeter, and I can't wait to get back out on the water.

    Thanks for the warm welcome. I took it out for a little while this afternoon. It was pretty windy and choppy, but the boat handled great just like I expected. My wife took a few pics. I'll try to get them posted later.

    Yea, It should be perfect for me. I looked at the big boats, but I won't really get enough fishing time to justify the cost. Plus this one fits perfect in my garage. The double console was for my Wife. We had to make a couple of long runs back to the ramp in the rain when I had my old SS 90.

    looking4five, I see you're from Calhoun. I live down here in florida now, but north louisiana will always be home. I grew up in union parish and spent about 15 years in west monroe. I can't tell you how much I miss fishing the ouachita river and bayou darbonne.
