passed another skeeter

i was fisihing and not catching [alone] in henderson lake [la] yesterday and while looking around saw another skeeter [ also alone ] screaming by.
being the person iam i had to hook mine up and chased down the other skeeter. i saw him look back at me and he ran up to about 60.
never being unsafe i passed him at 68 or so.
he looked at me like i was some kind of jack ass for raceing him.
whats the etiquite for running with someone you dont know?
someone with a skeeter or ranger knows how to drive a boat and are not going to hit each other or do anything unsafe.
whats wrong with a little raceing?

I don't see nothing wrong with it as long as you guys were being safe. Just limit the folks you are racing to Skeeters and Rangers so you will be sure to catch them. I would not try doing that to any other boat line as you might not be able to catch them.
Just kidding, have fun on the water, but always make sure safety is first priority.

ps, he was probably a little pissed because he could not catch you.
