Old rule of thumb is to run your thumb-nail over the crack. If your nail hangs on the scratch you should have it repaired. If it doesn't then the crack is cosmetic and not structurally hurting anything.
always be concerned about a crack that is on the hull. remember its the part that spends all its time under water and takes the friction and pounding of waves.. if it is minor they can grind out and re-gel. i would at least get it looked at by local glass shop for there opinion..
I have a couple spots on the hull on my '05. Had it checked out by a skeeter rep at the dealer and said it was cosmetic and nothing to worry about. You can feel them with your fingernails. I think i'm going to check into getting it fixed.

typical answer from reps/dealers, if it were on there boat i wouldnt worry about it either. as long as the crack doesnt get any wider you may not have any issues but why wait, get it while its simple and less costly..
