Does anyone know how big the gas tank is on the 2003 SX 200? I contacted Skeeter and they told me I either had 2 25 gallon tanks or 1 47 gallon tank. There's no way that tank is that big. If anyone has that model, I'd appreciate some info.

Did a search and found it has a 47 gal. tank. It's possible cause i have the SX190 and it has a 36 gal. tank.

I think the SX 200 had a 47 and the ZX has split 25s.

Teach a man to fish, he will complain that you stole his fishing spot.
I have he same boat, 47 gals is correct. Used it recently during gas shortage in Atl. to store extra fuel.
Have you had boat long. I love mine 200 yamaha. Quick and stable in one package.

I've had mine a little over a year and love it. It's very easy to drive and handles the rough water very well. I'm having a problem getting good speed out of it. When I bought it, the previous owner had a 25 pitch prop that had been reworked to a 26 and it ran in the high 60's. I recently had that prop cleaned up and now I'm running 56mph at 5500 rpm's and can barely get over 60. I'm guessing it's the prop. I have a Yamaha 200 Vmax OX66 3.1L (carburated) pushing it.
I'm no expert but having a prop cleaned shouldn't reduce your speed. The speeds you posted are they by the speedo or gps. Never can trust the speedo.![]()

I've got almost the same boat only with the EFI OX66 200HP (both boat and motor are 2002). I'm getting on the upper end of the 60s on the GPS. I'm using the standard V-max 26" 3 blade prop.
