I-class is a top of the line boat with lots of bells and whistles, digital gauges, alarm system, fancier fenders on trailer. Also a little different hull than the ZX models. The ZX boats are very well equipped for the tournament fisherman. I dont think you could go wrong with either one.

if you got the money and wanna fish in a cadillac go with the iclass. wanna save a little money and still have a bad ass boat go with the zx.![]()
First both are great boats and both offer smooth dry rides. But the IClass is designed at the top-of-the line full featured boat. It is designed to give you the even better ride. It features more weigh and a bulkhead built in the front to displace energy when you hit a wave. In the laws of physics if you hit a wave with more weight and the same speed it will displace energy and shock to the object. Thus making a smoother ride.
Many items optional on a ZX are standard on the Iclass. Trailer: Poly fenders included and torque transfer axles. THe Iclass features electronics locks and DMS Digital Multifunction System. THis includes an alarm system. Bottomless seats. The Iclass features the cutout for the graph directly in front of you and the 2009 will accept the larger Humminbird 997c in the console.
I would recommend getting in both and taking a test drive and see which boat fits your needs.

These guys have nailed it for the differences in the 2 boats. The only thing I didn't see mentioned is that if you're a big guy their is definitely more room behind the console on the iclass. If you go to a dealer and jump from a ZX225 on the showroom into a 20i, it's very noticeable.
Thanks everyone for the responses. I am really looking towards the 20i maybe better re-sale and if you are going to spend serious bucks on a new boat might as well be for the king of the crop.

trust me when I say that it does not get any better then the I Class, I didn't think that skeeter could do much better then the ZX but now that I have some seat time in the I Class there is No Better
Yesterday if I was in my zx the bow of my boat would of been wet at the end of the day but in the I class it was dry and this is what the lake looked like at the begining of the day and only got worst
and the ride was like if there was just alittle chop I'm loving it is all I can say
And definately price as well... Some other guys may be able to chime in on this, but I think it is $7,500+ The I is the best if you want everything, the ZX225 is still many peoples favorite though because of cost and almost equal performance.
