I am almost ready to give up, I need help figuring out what is wrong with my 1990 Johnson 150 GT. It starts up like a champ and will idle great. I can start to take off and try to get up on plane and it runs up to about 3000 rpm and falls on its nose. My mechanic has rebuilt all the carbs, done a sink and link, checked the power pack, and done multiple resistance test on the stator and other electrical components. Some one told me that the exhaust may be stoped up. Could this be the case, if so is it a bad job to clean out. Could some one give me some advise. I bought the boat in January and have only had it on the water 4 times![]()
