I have an 05 ZX225 and as many of you might be well aware of, the locks on the storage compartments are junk. Just wondering if anyone has come up with a good solution? I have read the prior posts on this.

You know that any compartment in ANY boat can be gotten into in 2 seconds with a simple crowbar don't you? If you want better security, those Loc-r-bars work better, but I could probably pry one of those off quickly too.
What problems exactly are you having with your locks?
I'm not trying to keep the thieves out as much as I am trying to keep the lids secure. When the latches come off and the cams fall out you know the lock is a piece of junk!!!!!! Just want a decent storage lock.

I just bought that same lock as the one shown on Ebay for $20 each CANADIAN.
I had my Skeeter dealer order me 9 of them from Skeeter.
The Skeeter part numbers are 91050346 for non locking and 91050347 for locking latches. These don't included the key or the metal rod. Re use your old metal rods (the part that turns into the slots) and I think if you stick your old key into the new latch, the latch will 'code' itself for your key only. <not sure on that, but seems to be how mine worked!!
