Ride of ZX 185 Vs 195

My last skeeter was a 2000 model ZX 195- my favorite boat to date. Sometimes wish I had not sold it, but the big block loved gas. Anyway, starting to think about my next boat and currently considering locating a good used ZX 185 to play with. However, a buddie told me the 185 did not handle rough water nearly as well as my 195 did. Can anyone speak to this? Is there much diff in these two hulls besides only the length?

I honestly can't comment on it. I have a zx185c, and it handeles well enough for me.
I would assume that another 1ft in leangth would improve the ride on rough water. But the zx185c or zx190 (same size) handles pretty darn good for a 18.5ft rig.

I have had both of the size boats you mentioned (TZX190, and currently ZX200). There is a small amount of difference. But, not enough to keep me from ever having another 18.5' Skeeter. They both do a good job in the rough water in my opinion.
