I have noticed that sometimes my motor runs for a second or two after i turn the key off. It does not do this all the time but it has done it a few times the last couple times out.
Anyone know why this is happening or if it is a sign of a bigger problem??

Maybe a bad connection. Next time it does it, pull the emergency kill and see if it kills it instantly.
your motor stays runnin because you have carbon build up in the motor , the carbon will glow red hot while its runnin and then when you shut it off it acts like a spark plug and keeps igniting the fuel, i would give it a heavy dose of ring free and see if that helps
Mine did that it was the switch dirt and dust . I bought a new one it worked fine
