    Intruder Compression ?

I have a 1992 150hp Intruder. Runs well on a 1993 482V Ranger. GPS speed is 59 - 60 mph consistent. Mechanic checked my compression last week and I would like your comments on the numbers: Looking at motor from behind they go like this - top left = 100; middle left = 93; bottom left = 92; top right = 105; middle right = 105 and bottom right = 103. Somewhere I thought I had heard that sometimes the lower cylinders are lower but I am not sure if that was true. Any help and/or comments would be appreciated.

    Re: Intruder Compression ? (Buzzbait)

Yep looks like a keeper to me, would be a good time for a de-carb though.

Thanks for the reply, I hope she stays running strong for a little while longer. I have really enjoyed this motor.

    Re: Intruder Compression ? (ChampioNman)

I have a 1998 175 Intruder, freshly rebuilt approx. 1.5 years ago. The compression is 120 in five and the bottom driver side is 95. Is it possible that a ring is stuck? I have a can of engine tuner but havent used it yet, could this take care of my problem or is something else going on? Thanks Joe

Sure tilt it up as high as you can, pull the spark plug and spray into the cylinder.
