what is involved in taking the passenger console out?
Is it easy or are you better off just leaving it in.

Just curious why you don't want it. Does it take up too much room? I was thinking about ordering one for my boat.

Once installed, the modular consoles have to stay. They can be added, but not removed.
That is, unless you want to spend $$$ on glass work.
Glass work and you need the black rubber piece. The one on the dual console curves and attaches to the console. The one on the single console is straight and has a little compartment on it.

My dealer said the exact same thing.
Would be nice if they made a way that you could put it in when you need it and take it out when you dont like you do with fishing seats.

That sucks because they charge extra to leave them out.
I want to take it out just for tournament fishing
just my opinion they take up to much room. I'd rather flop a fish in the bottom of the boat instead of on the deck. Not much to keep them from flopping out.
thanks for all of the inputs

Stratos claims the same thing (that the second console can't be taken out), but there are at least 2 forum members who have successfully removed the consoles from their Stratos 201 pro XL's. Some small screw holes are all they had to contend with afterwards. I'm guessing to do it right by a fiberglass repair guy may not be all that bad.
PushNit and 201Pro were the two members if you want to talk to them.
